Hi, my name is Laura Stewart. I am a personal chef living in Sacramento, California.
As an active member of the national organization, the Personal Chef Network, and now the United States Personal Chef Association, I have been inspired by personal chefs from all over the country who had a dream of owning their own personal chef business and spending their days cooking in the kitchen. I enjoy exploring all types of cuisines with my favorites being Italian, Mediterranean, French and Southwest and adding my own modern interpretations. I like to cook healthy meals using fresh herbs from my garden and produce from local farmers markets.
When I started my business back in 2007 I didn't realize all the twists and turns I would take pursuing my dream of a personal chef. I also quickly learned I had lots of innovative ideas of how to diversify my business and take my love of cooking to all different levels.

My cooking style has been influenced by dining at acclaimed restaurants from around Northern California, specifically San Francisco, Carmel and the Napa Valley. I have been exposed to great local produce and fresh seafood from the Pacific Coast that continues to stretch my imagination in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking recipes from famous chefs like Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsey, Thomas Keller and Cindy Pawlcyn (from the Napa Valley), but I especially like creating my own dishes or putting a twist to one of theirs to make it my own.
